Summary

During my time at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, I have participated in Law Review, the Ordered Liberty Fellowship, the Business Law Society, the Federalist Society, and in co-founding the Tech Law Society. These activities consistently arrive at points of interest in bio-technology, intellectual property, and business law.

Experiential Highlights

  • Trademark law: compiled USPTO's comments on trademark application into comprehensive form for clarifying client's intended use of marks.

  • Artificial intelligence: explored implications of feeding medical data into neural network algorithms.

  • Patent law: researched for prior art aligning with salient mechanical technology.

  • Trade secrets: created presentation covering international approaches to trade secret protection and exemplary caselaw.

  • Criminal law: drafted memos in the US Army JAG Corps for trial counsel (prosecution).

  • Licensed technology: compiled dozens of material transfer agreement content into actionable data.

  • Pharmaceutical law: reviewed (UB)MTAs between collegiate scientists and external parties for pharmacological research.

  • International trade law: drafted "comments" to the USTR addressing international competition restrictions.

  • Medical law: researched informed consent for dental procedures and requisite mental capacities.
